Solution

Law of dominance:

  1. In the experiment, a cross is made between a homozygous plant with yellow round seeds(YYRR) and a homozygous plant with green wrinkled seeds (yyrr).
  2. In the F-1 generation, all the off-springs show yellow round seeds(YyRr).
  3. It can be seen in Punnett square.

RYRY
ryRrYyRrYy
ryRrYyRrYy

The yellow and round characters expressed are dominant while wrinkled and green characters that are not expressed are recessive.

Mendel postulated, this explanation as to the Law of dominance.
