Given,

Height h=L(1+cos60o)=0.5(1cos60o)=0.25m

Total Energy =kinetic energy + potential energy

Total Energy at lowest point =12MV2+Mgh=12M(3)2+Mg(0)=9M2

Total Energy (at 60o)=12MV12+Mgh

From conservation of energy

12MV12+Mgh=9M2

V12=2(9210×0.25)=4

V1=2m/s

Velocity of bob at angle 60o is 2m/s
