Let the gun be fired with velocity u from point O on the bird at B, making angle θ with the horizontal or direction. Therefore the height of the aims of the person is at height BA(=h) above the bird.
Here, Horizontalrange=u2sin2θg=100

sin2θ=100×10(500)2=1250
2θ=14 or θ=7=760×π180radian
As angle=arcradius
θ=ABOB
or AB=θ×OB
AB=760×π180×(100×100) cm=20.35 cm
