Let he borrowed $R s . x$ from first person.
so, interest given to first person $= \frac{x \times 18 \times 1}{100} = \frac{9 x}{50}$
Hence, interest given tosecond person $= \frac{(8000 - x) \times 18 \times 1}{100} = 2000 \times \frac{x}{4}$
Total interest $= \frac{9 x}{50} + 2000 - \frac{x}{4} = R s .15, 80 ⟹ x = R s .60, 000$
Hence, he borrowed $R s .60, 000$ from first person and $R s .20, 000$ from second person.
