Let the total number of oranges bought $=2x$ dozen
Then, C.P. of $2x$ dozen oranges $=$ Rs. $(10x+8x)=$ Rs. $18x$.
S.P. of $2x$ oranges $=$ Rs. $(11\times 2x)=$ Rs. $22x$
Gain $=$ Rs. $120$

Therefore, $22x-18x=120$

$\Rightarrow 4x=120$

$\Rightarrow x=30$
$\therefore$ total number of oranges bought by him $=2\times 30=60$ dozen.
