Solution

The correct option is C 0.576 L
Initial amount of water in bottle = 1 L
Amount of water consumed by a person = 0.312 L

∴ Amount of water remaining in the bottle after consumption = 1 L - 0.312 L

Now, 1 L = 1.000 L

So, 1 L - 0.312 L can be written as:
1.000 L - 0.312 L

Calculating 1.000 - 0.312 through place value table, we get:

So, 1.000 - 0.312 = 0.688

∴ The remaining amount of water in the bottle is 0.688 L.

Now, from this remaining amount, again 0.112 L of water is taken out.

So, the final amount of water in the bottle = 0.688 L - 0.112 L

Calculating 0.688 - 0.112 through place value table, we get:

So, 0.688 - 0.112 = 0.576

∴ The final amount of water in the bottle is 0.576 L.
