How many cycles he will be able to buy if each cycle is costing Rs. 125 more ?

Number of cycle purchased = 25
New price of the cycle = Rs. 500 + Rs. 125 = Rs. 625
Let number of cycle will be purchase = x

More rate, less cycles
$\therefore$ By inverse variation:
$500:625=x:25\Rightarrow \frac{500}{625}=\frac{x}{25}\Rightarrow 625\times x=500\times 25\Rightarrow x=\frac{500\times 25}{625}=20$
$\therefore$ Number of cycles purchased = 20
