A person having diarrhea and feeling very tired drank a glassful of water containing 2 tablespoons of Glucon - D dissolved in it. His diarrhea increased. Can you attribute the increase in diarrhea to Glucon - D? If yes. How?

Glucose water will only worsen the diarrhea. In diarrhea, there is a decreased absorption and increased output of wa ter from the intestines. Glucose water will absorb water from the body and make stools softer (increases output of water); this is for constipation (hard stools), not diarrhea.
