The correct option is A 35%
To gain 20 % on whole he must sell all goods for Rs 400+20% of 400= Rs 480
As he get 5 % on half of goods
Selling price =200+5 % of 200=Rs 210
So required balance =480-210=270
He must gain Rs 70 on Rs 200
So % of gain on remaining goods=70200×100=35%
