A person in your colony has recently been diagnosed with AIDS. People/ residents in the colony want him to leave the colony for the fear of spread of AIDS.
List the possible preventive measures that you would suggest to the residents of your locality in a meeting organised by you so that they understand the situation.

The person diagnosed with AIDS should not be shunned by the society because it can increase the chances of wider spread of the diseases. Problem should be dealt with in a collective manner.
Preventive measures that could be suggested are:
As AIDS spread due to conscious behavior we should aware our society about how the diseases spread.
One should not share any sharp objects that have come in contact with patient's blood .
Proper preventive measures should be taken during any sexual intercourse with the infected person like use of condoms reduces the risk of spread of STDs.
