The correct option is B4.8% Let the part invested at 4% by x. Then the part invested at 6% will be 4500−x Annual Income from x=x×4×1100=4x100 Annual income from 4500−x=(4500−x)×6×1100 Thus, 4x100=(4500−x)×6100 Cancelling out the 100 in denominator, we get 4x=6×4500−6x 4x+6x=27000
