The correct option is C 4.8%
Let the amount invested on 4% be Rs. x.
Then remaining amount Rs. (45000x) invest at rate 6%
Then, according to the question, income from both are equal.
x×4×1100=(45000x)×6×1100
2x=3×450003x
5x=3×45000
x= Rs. 27000
Total interest =2×27000×4100= Rs. 2160
Rate of interest =2160×10045000=4.8%.
