Let the person invest Rs x and y at two different rates 12% and 14% respectively.
x×12×1100+y×10×1100=130(SI=P×R×T100)12x+10y=13000 ...(i)
After inter-changing invested amount,
y×12×1100+x×10×1100=13412y+10x=13400 (ii)
On solving equations (i) and (ii), we get
x = Rs 500 and y = Rs 700
