A person is turning the radio station to a particular station. What is the person trying to do to tune it?

Solution

  1. As we know, when we turn a radio set to a particular station, then the station will catch if the applied periodic force's frequency of the station becomes equal to the natural frequency of the Radio set.
  2. Once both the frequency becomes equal then the radio takes up the vibrations and begins to vibrate with an increase in amplitude.

Hence, in this case, the person is changing the frequency of his radio to match the frequency of the radio station.
