Now we can write,

$Distancecovered=5\left(2\pi R\right)+\pi R$

$Or,D=11\pi R$

Now putting all the values

$D=11\times 3.14\times 250$

After solving

Distance traveled = 8635 m

Hence the total distance traveled = 8635 m

As we know displacement is shortest path between initial and final position and here final position is at end of half circle, ,

So, displacement will be, $=2R=2\times 250=500m$
