Formula : 0.5 Mark
Calculation : 1 Mark
Result : 0.5 Mark

Speed of sound, v= $346 m s^{- 1}$

Time taken, $t = 10 s$

Distance travelled by the sound $= v \times t = 346 \times 10 = 3460 m$

In 10s sound has to travel from person and wall and back. Hence, sound travels twice the distance

Distance between person and wall= $\frac{3460}{2} = 1730 m$
