A person sleeping under the tree during night feels lethargic when he wakes up in the morning. What could be the possible reason?
He has inhaled excess carbon dioxide given out by trees.
Plants primarily perform respiration during the night as they do not have sunlight for photosynthesis and thus they give out a lot of carbon dioxide. A person sleeping under a tree during the night, therefore, inhales more carbon dioxide which deprives his body of oxygen. This leads to less energy production in his body, thus making him feel lethargic after he wakes up in the morning.
