Let number of tables be x

$\therefore$ Number of chair be $27-x$

$\therefore (27-x)\left(15\right)+x(40+15)=1045$

$\therefore 405-15x+40x+15x=1045$

$\therefore 40x=1045-405$

$\therefore 40x=640$

$\therefore x=\frac{640}{40}=16$

$\therefore$ Chairs $=27-16=11$

$\therefore$ tables = 16
