The correct option is A $v = \frac{v_{1} + v_{2}}{2}$
As shown, the person travels from A to B through a distance S, where first part $S_{1}$ is travelled in time t/2 and text $S_{2}$ also in time t/2.
So, according to the condition : $v_{1} = \frac{S_{1}}{t / 2}$ and $v_{2} = \frac{S_{2}}{t / 2}$
Average velocity = $\frac{T o t a l d i s p l a c e m e n t}{T o t a l t i m e t a k e n} = \frac{S_{1} + S_{2}}{t} = \frac{\frac{v_{1} t}{2} + \frac{v_{2} t}{2}}{t} = \frac{v_{1} + v_{2}}{2}$
