Solution

First of all, it's not easy for airplane window to break. It is most likely high quality polymer to sustain high pressure difference and temperature. And there are two layers of it. But still..

When an aeroplane is flying (normally at 35000feet altitude). The temperature just outside the plane is as low as -10,20°c, but inside the cabin its maintained at room temperature.

The temperature is not that big of a issue, but the extremely low pressure is.

The pressure outside a flying airplane is so low that we cannot sustain it without oxygen masks. And that's the reason cabin air pressure is maintained at normal ground pressure.

If a window breaks, the pressure difference will cause the air to flow from high to low(inside the cabin to outside) at a very violent rate, and this may even cause the hole(window) to expand. And if it's big enough it can even suck out a passenger. Thinkof it as a vacuum cleaner, but way stronger.

It will be a Catastrophe for people on board, as pressure drop will suffocate them and the air pull will try to suck them out.

But it's not likely to occur as all safety precautions are taken.
