Solution

The correct option is A 10 m
Let east direction ^i is positive and North direction ^j is positive.
Let person starts from the origin A=(0^i+0^j),
Person travels 6 m towards east at Point B= 6^i,
Person travels 8 m towards north at C= 6^i+8^j,
Person travels 16 m towards south at D= 6^i8^j,
So dispalcement is ¯DA=|6^i8^j|= 10 m
