We know that Distance=Speed×Time
So the distance from village to town =50×4=200km
As the same distance is covered from the town back to the village, time taken =DistanceSpeed=20040=5 hours.
Now, Average Speed =Total distance coveredtotal time taken=200+20+2004+1+5=42010=42km/hr
