The correct option is C 12.5 cm
Base area of the tank = 800 sq. cm
Price of petrol per L = Rs. 99
Total amount of petrol purchased = Rs. 990
Quantity of petrol purchased = $\frac{990}{99}$ = 10 L
We know,
Volume of petrol = 10 L = 10,000 cu. cm
Volume of tank filled by 10 L petrol = base area x height
So, height of petrol in the tank = $\frac{10000}{800}$ = 12.5 cm
