Solution

n is proprtional to 1/u......it is quite simple.....suppose you are measuring some physical quantity say distance.....larger the unit you use for measurement smaller will be the numerical value......suppose your distance to be measured is 50000 m......so in terms of metre which is a small unit value is 50000 which is quite large....but if you measure it in terms of a larger unit say kilometre....it will be only 50
