Solution

The correct option is C 85 m
Total cloth =325 m
Converting it to an improper fraction
325 m=5×3+25=175 m

Cloth used in making shirt =145 m
Converting it to an improper fraction
145 m=5×1+45=95 m

Cloth left = Total cloth - Cloth used in making shirt

Cloth left=17595

Now, subtract the two fractions
As the denominators of the fractions are the same, so the numerators can be subtracted directly and the denominator remains the same.
=1795

=85

Cloth left=85 m
