A piece of string is 30cm long, what will be the length of each side, if the string is used to form a square?

The string is used to form a square.

Therefore, the perimeter is equal to length of the string.

We know that, perimeter of sqaure is =4a where a=side

4×a=30 [ Assuming the each side of square to be a]

a=304a=7.5cm

Hence, each side of the square is equal to 7.5cm.
