The correct option is B: 58 metre

Total length of wire =78 meter

Length of first part =14 meter

Length of first part + Length of remaining part = Total length of the wire

Length of remaining part = Total length of the wire Length of first part

Length of remaining part =7814

=(7)(1×2)8 [ L.C.M of 8 and 4 is 8 ]

=728=58

Therefore, the length of remaining part is 58 metre.
