Resistance is directly proportional to length and inversely proportional to c.s. area.

If it is assumed that all properties remains same after twisting.

L'= L/2

A'= 2A

So, R'= R/4

.. so the resistance is become 4 time less ...
suppose take the resistance in straight wire 4 ohms then it will become 1 ohm
