The net upward force at any moment upon the block can be given as,
Fnet=FBFVmg
Where, FB = Force of Bouancy, upwards
Fv = Viscous force, downwards
mg = weight, downwards
FBFvmg=ma
a = acceleration of the block
But initially, v=0Fv=0
As,|Fv|=6πηrv

As velocity increases.Fv also increases. it shows clearly that the net acceleration is maximum initially and reduces as Fv increases.
