The correct option is B 1.86 kJ
Initial pressure=Pi=130 kPa, initial temperature= Ti=393 K, initial volume=Vi=.07 m3
Final pressure=Pf=100 kPa, final temperature=Tf=373 K, final volume=Vf

For polytropic process, PVx=constant
Here PiVxi=PfVxf ..........(i)
Applying ideal gas equation, Vf=(PiViTf)(TiPf)=130×.07×373393×100
Vf=0.086m3
Hence putting these values in (i),
x=1, i.e. PV=constant process is isothermal.
Hence work done = PiVilnVfVi=1.86 kJ
