Let I1,I2 and I3 be the image formed by
(i) refraction from ADC (ii) reflection from BEF. (iii) Again refraction from ADC. Then BI1=5n=5(1.5)=7.5=7.5 cm Now ϵI1=(7.5+2.5)cm=10 cmI2=10 cm behind the mirror.
Now, BI2=10+2.5=12.5 cmBI3=12.5π=12.51.5=8.33 cm Hence, D is the correct answer
