Wave equation,
$y = 0.8 s i n 16 π (t - \frac{x}{40}) m m$
From the above equation,
$K = \frac{16 π}{40}$
We know that propagation constant is given by
$K = \frac{2 π}{λ}$
$λ = \frac{2 π}{K} = \frac{2 π}{16 π / 40}$
$λ = 5 m m$
