As a plane wavefront is incident on a convex mirror, after reflection, we'll get a diverging wavefront. This can be explained using the following diagram.

When the central ray is incident at point C, the peripheral rays are yet to cover some distance before they are incident on the mirror.
When peripheral rays are incident on the mirror, the central rays are already reflected back, covering equal distance in opposite direction.
Due to this, the shape of the wavefront becomes spherical and it goes on diverging, after reflection.
