The angular momemtum of the planet is conserved i.e. L=mvr is constant at all points.
Now, consider the angular momemtums of given scenarios when the planet is farthest, nearest to be Lf,La respectively. So, Lf=La.
Its also given that nearest distance is d1, with velocity v1 and the farthest distance is d2. Substituting the given values we get
mv2d2=mv1d1 solving this we get
v2=v1d1d2
