Length of rectangular portion (l)=60 m and breadth (b)=28 m

$∴ A r e a o f t h e r e c t a n g u l a r p l o t = l \times b = 60 \times 28 m^{2} = 1680 m^{2}$

Radius of semicircular portion (r)= $\frac{b}{2} = \frac{28}{2} = 14 m$

$∴ A r e a = \frac{1}{2} π r^{2} = \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 \times 14 m^{2} = 308 m^{2}$

$∴ T o t a l a r e a o f t h e p l o t = 1680 + 308 = 1988 m^{2}$
