As volume of dug out =
volume increased on plot
$\Rightarrow 10 \times 10 \times x = 240 \times 180 \times \frac{25}{100}$
$\Rightarrow 100 x = 24 \times 18 \times 25$
$\Rightarrow x = 6 \times 18 = 108 m$
