The correct option is A True
When the p-n junction is forward biased, p-side is connected to positive terminal of battery and n-side is connected to negative terminal of the battery. we know that opposite charges attract and like charges repel. Hence, when we apply forward voltage, the holes experience a repulsive force from positive terminal and moves towards n-side whereas electrons move from n side to p-side. In this manner, both free electrons and holes carry electric current in forward biased condition. Whereas in reverse bias condition there is a flow of only minority carriers, so very little current flows and no conduction occurs.
