The correct option is B v2+u22
Let the distance between A and B = s and as mentioned C is the midpoint of A and B, thus distance AC and CB = s2
From equation of motion we get distance AB as
v2=u2+2as
s=v2u22a- ---------(1)
Let speed of the vehicle be p m/s at point C
Again, from equation of motion we get,
p2=u2+2as2
as distance between A and C is s2
s=p2u2a -------(2)
Equating 1 and 2, we get
p2u2a=v2u22a
p2=v2+u22p=v2+u22
