1.5v116=1.51R
1.5v1=12R16=3R6R
v1=9R3R
Object distance for refraction at curved surface is
u2=9R3RR=6R+R23R
Image distance is given as
v2=32/3
For plane refraction
1.5u2=1v2
Putting the value of v2, we get
u2=16
6R+R2=4816R
R2+22R48=0
R=22±484+1922=2 cm
