Given, 2 cm is the scaled length of a 20 meter long pole.

We know that if the scaled length increases, then the actual length will also increase.

Scaled length(x)Actual length(y)
x1y1 = x2y2

Given,
x1 = 2 cm
y1 = 20 meters
x2 = 1 meters = 100 cm
and y2=actual length of the tower

220 = 100y2

y2 = 100 × 202 = 1000 meters

Hence, the actual length of the tower is 1000 meters.
