Pressure exerted by the box, $P = 0.25 \frac{N}{m^{2}}$
$P r e s s u r e = \frac{F o r c e}{A r e a} S o, t h e f o r c e e x e r t e d b y t h e b o x, F = P \times a = 0.25 \frac{N}{m^{2}} \times 2 m^{2} = 5.0 N$
Now, the potter increased the area to $a' = 5 m^{2}$
So, the pressure exerted will be
$P' = \frac{F}{a'} = \frac{5.0 N}{5 m^{2}} = 1.0 \frac{N}{m^{2}}$
