The correct option is A 5 J
By the work energy theorem, Change in kinetic energy = Work done

Work done = Area under FS curve
W= Area (trapezium ABCD) Area (trapezium DFJI)

We know that area of trapezium is given by, 12×(sum of opposite side)×height

=12×(3+1)×1012×(2+1)×10
=2015=5 J

Hence option A is the correct answer.
