Following are the three practises to enhance the yield:
  • Outbreeding of the animals
  • Proper management of the farms
  • Regular inspection for checking diseases in the animals

Broilers are raised for meat production. As they need to grow very fast they are fed with high protein and vitamin K rich diet.

The layers are specialized for egg laying. Their diet is rich in roughages and calcium.
