Inertia constant $H \propto \frac{1}{M V A r a t i n g}$

$H_{n e w} = H_{1 o l d} \times \frac{S_{1 o l d}}{S_{n e w}}$

$= 0.8 \times \frac{500}{200} = 2 p u$

$H_{n e w} = H_{2 o l d} \times \frac{S_{2 o l d}}{S_{n e w}}$

$= 0.5 \times \frac{1000}{200} = 2.5 p u$

$H_{e q} = H_{1 n e w} + H_{2 n e w}$

$= 2.0 + 2.5 = 4.5 p u$
