Given that,
Refractive index of prism, μp=2
Prism angle, A=60


For minimum deviation,
i=ie and r1=r2
also, r1+r2=A [for minimum deviation r1=r2=r]
2r=A=60
r=30
On applying Snell's law,
μp=sinisinr
μp=sinisin30
2=sini(1/2)
sini=12
i=45
