The correct option is C 5:3
Ratio of two varieties of tea =x:y

Cost rate of first variety =18 per kg and second variety =20 per kg

Total cost (CP) =(amount×Price rate)=18x+20y

Total selling price (SP) =Amount of mixture×Rate of mixture=(x+y)×21

Given that Gain percentage =12%

Gain=SPCP=(21x+21y)(18x+20y)=3x+y

Now, Gain percentage=Gain times100CP=(3x+y)×10018x+20y

12=(3x+y)×10018x+20y

216x+240y=300x+100y

140y=84x

xy=14084=53
