We know ux=ucosθ will remain contant for entire motion as acceleration along x− axis is zero.
But Velocity along y− axis (vy) will change due to gravity. ∵ay=g m/s2 ∴KE at any instant =12m(√u2x+v2y)2 =12m(u2x+v2y)
At maximum height vy=0, before that velocity is continuously decreasing and after that continuously increasing.
Thus, KE first decreases and then increases.
