Given : θ=30o u=10 m/s
From figure, ux=ucos30o=10×0.866=8.66 m/s
Also uy=usins30o=10×0.5=5 m/s

x-direction : ax=0 m/s2
Thus displacement in x direction in t=2 s, Sx=uxt=8.66×2=17.3 m

y-direction : ay=g=10 m/s2
Thus displacement in y direction in t=2 s, Sy=uyt+12ayt2
Sy=10×212×10×22=0 m
Total displacement ST=S2y+S2x=0+(17.3)2=17.3 m
