Here in this case ,a proton , a deuterium and an alpha particle enters in a magnetic field perpendicular with field with same velocities .
Here , we know that ,qvB=mv2rr=mvqBNow look , the ratio of vB is constant as v and B are same for all the particles .So , the mass of the proton,mp=1 ,charge of proton,qp=1the mass of the deuterium,md=2 ,charge of proton,qd=1the mass of the alpha particle,mα=4 ,charge of alpha particle,qα=2Now ,rp:rd:rα=mpqp:mdqd:mαqα=11:21:42=1:2:2
