We know, change in potential when a charge is moved in an Electric Field,
Δ=−E.Δx ( Δx: displacement )
(i) when proton is displaced along →E field, Δx=15cm
Δv1=−2.0×105×(0.15)
Δv1=−30kv
(ii) when proton is displaced against →E field, Δx=−15cm.
The potential difference is just negative of case (i)
